Designed for private play — Only the people and dogs in your booking are allowed in the space during your visit.
Note: The private entrance is on the left, approximately 50m before 623 State Highway 16 (when coming from Kumeū Village). Our spot features open grassy space with mown walking tracks, mature pine trees for shade, natural logs for climbing, and a creek/pond that water-loving dogs will enjoy exploring. It’s a peaceful country setting with plenty of room for zoomies, sniffing, splashing and adventuring. There is off-street parking available. As the entrance is on a busier road, you’re welcome to open the gate and pull fully into the property before letting your dog out of the car so you can unload safely. The two paddocks available for Sniffspot guests are completely separate from the house, giving you privacy and a quiet space to enjoy your visit without interruption. You will have the paddock to yourself during your booking time.

We had a great time at Julians place! Lots of swimming and sniffing good times, will be easier to find after you first visit, just a little precarious pulling in off the busy highway. We will return !

Such a beautiful and secure private park for dogs! I love that you can drive straight into the area, close the gate behind you, and safely let the dogs out of the car. There’s no need to walk them in on a lead first, which makes the whole experience so easy and stress-free. The owner is also very friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to my messages. We always enjoy coming here and would highly recommend it!
